1. Overview

This Expert Partner Agreement ("Agreement") governs your participation as an Expert on shymind.com's Expert Marketplace, in addition to our general Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, which continue to apply to you.

2. Eligibility & Application

To apply as an Expert, you submit a profile including your specialty, experience, and bio, and may optionally upload supporting documents (certificates, degree, license, ID, portfolio) for review. Approval is at our discretion.

3. Verification Process

An administrator reviews any documents you submit and may mark each category - Identity, Credentials, and Experience - as verified independently. You control whether the underlying document files are shown publicly on your profile; verified-category badges display either way once approved, so choosing to keep documents private does not remove your earned trust signals. Verification reflects our review of what you submitted, not an independent license check with a regulatory body unless we state otherwise.

4. Your Representations

By applying, you represent that:

  • All information and documents you submit are accurate and genuinely yours;
  • Any credential, license, or certification you reference is current and valid;
  • You will not represent yourself as providing licensed medical, psychiatric, or psychological treatment through the Service unless you hold that license and clearly disclose it;
  • You have the right to provide the coaching/mentorship services you describe in your profile.

5. Client Interactions

You agree to communicate professionally and respectfully, keep information a client shares with you (including shared Vault insights) confidential and use it only to support that client, and direct any client describing a safety crisis to appropriate emergency resources rather than attempting to manage it yourself. You may set a session meeting link (e.g. Zoom or Google Meet) in your dashboard, shown to clients you're actively messaging.

6. Fees & Payments

The rate range shown on your profile is informational. shymind.com does not currently process payments between you and clients; any payment arrangement you make outside the Service is your sole responsibility, and you agree not to use off-platform payment requests to circumvent platform safety review. This section will be updated if in-platform payment processing is introduced.

7. Prohibited Conduct

In addition to the Community Guidelines, Experts must not: solicit clients for services unrelated to their stated specialty; use client information for marketing without consent; or continue engaging a client who has asked to stop contact.

8. Termination of Expert Status

We may suspend or revoke your Expert status, including previously granted verification badges, if you violate this Agreement, our Terms, or our Community Guidelines, or if we determine continued listing poses a risk to users.

9. Independent Contractor Status

You are an independent professional, not an employee, partner, or agent of shymind.com. Nothing in this Agreement creates an employment, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship.

10. Limitation of Liability

shymind.com facilitates the connection between you and clients but is not a party to, and assumes no obligation or liability for, the advice, guidance, or services you provide, or for any outcome of a session between you and a client. You - not shymind.com - are solely responsible for your professional conduct, the quality and accuracy of what you tell clients, and any applicable licensing or regulatory requirements in your jurisdiction.
